Today, Tuesday 28 July 2020, the Economic Chamber of North-West Macedonia in cooperation with the Chamber of doing business in Kosovo, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Tirana and the Pan Albanian Economic Forum organized and led the first virtual regional Fair of its kind, in which more than 60 companies presented their products and services.

The purpose of this virtual fair was to promote businesses from North Macedonia, Kosovo and Albania and potentially to initiate collaborations in the future between companies from the respective countries and beyond.

The first word was given by the host Mr. Nebi Hoxha, President of the Economic Chamber of North-West Macedonia, who said that Albanian businesses in the region are very important not only in terms of local economy, but that they strongly influence the overall regional economic stability.

Furthermore, Presidents of the above-mentioned Chambers also congratulated this event, taking into account that it takes place in difficult conditions of the pandemic. They also placed special emphasis on local products as well as promoting regional cooperation in order to promote, develop and grow manufacturing companies.

ECNWM in cooperation with its institutional partners successfully realized this Regional Virtual Fair, proving once again that its activity willingly serves businesses despite the state of emergency created by the pandemic COVID19.

This activity is carried out by ECNWM in the framework of the USAID Business Ecosystem Project, increasing the opportunities for business interconnection in the region and beyond.
