24.07.2019 – Today, in the premises of the Economic Chamber of North-West Macedonia was welcomed to a working meeting the president of Republic of North Macedonia Mr.Stevo Pendarovski. The purpose of today’s meeting was to discuss economic developments and policies in the country. The president of the ECNWM, Mr. Nebi Hoxha presented the chamber and its demands. In this meeting were attending members of companies. ECNWM as a chamber is always committed to building partnerships and collaborating with state institutions in order to cross the barriers that we face along the way towards the development of our state. Reform processes and the Euro-Atlantic path have been and will always be supported by the ECNWM.

We as ECNWM have been and will continue to be a transparent chamber for the business community in North Macedonia, seeking solutions to the problems facing the business community as well as providing solutions to the same problems. ECNWM operates in accordance with its operating principles, which are:

• Transparency and accountability;
  • Equal regional development;
  • Abandoning the myth of the free workforce;
  • Reduce unemployment and create a medium-term strategy for sustainable economic development; and
  • GDP growth of over 4% to achieve not only economic growth but also economic development.

The above principles form the basis for achieving economic development and well- being, and achieving these and other proposed measures efficiently and effectively is possible through the involvement of the business community in the decision-making process. This presentation of the ECNWM by the Head of State Mr. Pendarovski was welcomed positively and this meeting is a step towards the beginning of cooperation between the chamber and the President of the state.
