The leadership of ECNWM welcomes the President of the political party VMRO-DPMNE, Mr. Hristijan Mickoski – The Chamber’s economic platform is discussed
30.04.2024 – Tuesday, in the premises of ECNWM were the President of VMRO-DPMNE, Mr. Hristijan Mickoski and his cabinet, who were welcomed by the President of the ECNWM Mr. Mendi Qyra and its leadership.
In the meeting it was discussed about the common points of the platforms of both parties, where President Qyra again emphasized the need to reduce salary contributions as an important measure to increase the living standard of citizens, to stop the migration, as well as emphasizing the need to fight informal economy.
The workforce continues to be the main concern of the ECNWM. In this meeting it was discussed about the reforms in education and various laws related to the workforce. Among other things, there was a discussion about the models foreseen by both parties for reforms in the public administration, which is overpopulated with employees in order to find a model which will enable their transfer to the private sector.
Among the many points that were mentioned, they talked about the construction sector, urban planning, Sunday as a non-working day, equal regional development, nationwide involvement of institutions, coverage of the entire territory by their activity etc.
The President of VMRO-DPMNE Mr. Mickoski emphasized the importance of the partnership with the Economic Chamber of North-West Macedonia, but also with other chambers, as an important element for genuine and sustainable reforms, considering the expertise with which the economic chambers correspond.
ECNWM continues to submit its request for an increase in the minimum salary to 30,000 denars, while the state should not increase the contributions, but reduce them to 32% from the net salary. As an institution, ECNWM has not deviated from protecting the interests of citizens and businesses in the first place, as well as the self-sustainability of the state.
