05.02.2020, Skopje – The Economic Chamber of North-West Macedonia held a meeting with the political party Alliance for Albanians, chaired by Mr. Ziadin Sela. Meetings with political parties have become an institutional tradition and provide an opportunity to present the mission to the Chamber, which is the correction of macroeconomic policies. In these meetings is presented the Platform for Economic Development of North Macedonia, prepared by the ECNWM, which includes a proposal of priority policies in the form of measures, which will contribute to the economic development of the country. It is guided by the basic principles on which mutual cooperation will be built between the business community and political actors.

Within this Economic Platform by the ECNWM, the perspectives and problems faced by businesses and the possibilities of overcoming them are also included. The purpose of this economic platform is to present the vision, attitudes and measures of the ECNWM, so they can be included in the program of the new government.

Nebi Hoxha said that cooperation with political parties in the country is very important for creating favorable conditions for doing business in the country, as it is very important to hear the voice of businesses and their requirements to be taken into account by relevant institutions in the country. We identify problems with political parties and provide solutions in the form of concrete measures, all with the aim of a sustainable economic development.

Sela from the Alliance for Albanians said that he welcomes the initiative of the ECNWM to present the Platform, as businesses are generators of material goods for society and for the creation of new jobs.

Meetings with all political parties prove that the ECNWM is principled in its approach and that any entity that can and is interested in contributing to the economic development of the country will find a partnership in the ECNWM.
