ECNWM presents the economic platform to the Democratic Union for Integration (BDI)

10.02.2020, Skopje – The Economic Chamber of North-West Macedonia welcomes the political party Democratic Union for Integration, chaired by Mr. Ali Ahmeti. Based on the tradition of the ECNWM to hold working meetings with all political parties in the country, the Economic Platform for Development of the Republic of North Macedonia prepared by the chamber itself is presented and it simultaneously reveals the main points that need to be corrected, policies or measures taken by the Government in relation to the economic development of the country.

The proposed economic platform was presented to the DUI. This platform reflects the real situation of the sectors in which there should be improvement and inclusion of economic chambers in all areas that tangle businesses. The basic principles of this platform are: transparency and accountability, reduction of unequal economic development, reduction of unemployment and others. Special emphasis on the priority measures proposed on this platform is given to: the Vizbegovo area, the construction of the Skopje-Blace highway, Kodra e Diellit (Popova Sapka), the opening of the customs terminal in Jazhinca and similar.

“On the eve of the pre-election period, as a practice and tradition of the Economic Chamber of North-West Macedonia, we held a consultative meeting with the Democratic Union for Integration. We as the Chamber continuously but also in our strategy have cooperation and dialogue with all political parties and with the hope that the party that will be part of the Government will continue cooperation and will have a special focus on the country’s economy, ” said. Mr. Hoxha.

“It was a pleasure to meet with the Economic Chamber of North-West Macedonia, with which there are no differences between the Chamber’s and the Economic Program of the Democratic Union for Integration on substantive issues. Once again, I appealed to the Chamber to communicate, for cooperation, for ideas in all areas related to the development of the country, so it remains that all issues that have been raised to be integrated within a program agreed by the parties, “said Mr. Ahmeti.
