The Economic Chamber of North-West Macedonia welcomes the opening of the border crossing with the “One Stop Shop” system between the Republic of Kosovo and North Macedonia, as an important step towards advancing regional economic cooperation and facilitating the free movement of people and goods. This project is a testament to the power of human capital and political will to build bridges of cooperation that directly impact the improvement of the business climate.

On this occasion, we congratulate the Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Albin Kurti, and the Prime Minister of North Macedonia, Mr. Hristijan Mickoski, for this joint achievement that sends a clear message for the future, and that only through joint strategic projects we can strengthen sustainable economic development in our countries and in the region.

The Economic Chamber of North-West Macedonia remains committed to supporting any initiative that promotes economic integration and increases the competitiveness of our businesses.

We remind that ECNWM has requested that this reform be implemented as soon as possible, in order to intensify the easier circulation of goods and citizens. Now is the time for the government to implement the project Blace-Skopje highway, and that the ECNWM will be a partner in these development initiatives.
