Skopje, 18 February 2025 – In the premises of the Economic Chamber of North-West Macedonia, a meeting was held between representatives of the Public Revenue Office (PRO) and member companies of the Group of Construction, Urbanism and Environment and Energy. This meeting focused on the practical implementation of the Profit Tax Law, with particular emphasis on the possibilities of profit reinvestment and the categories of tangible and intangible assets for which it can be used. The discussion aimed to provide clarity on the conditions and procedures, helping businesses optimize their finances.

The Director of the ECNWM, Durim Zekiri, welcomed this initiative of the Public Revenue Office, appreciating the proactive approach and cooperation to ensure efficient implementation of tax policies. He also emphasized the readiness of the Chamber’s member companies to be active participants in such discussions, which contribute to strengthening the private sector and creating a more favorable climate for investments. The meeting was also attended by the coordinators of the group, Mr. Sami Morina and Mr. Resul Hani, who shared the perspectives of the sector and addressed the main challenges faced by companies.

Representatives of the participating businesses had the opportunity to ask questions and discuss interactively with PRO representatives, ensuring a fruitful exchange of information and best practices. PRO representatives expressed their readiness to organize further meetings to further inform the business community about tax aspects.
