ECNWM Organizes working meeting with Prime Minister Mr. Zoran Zaev

05.04.2019 – Today, the Economic Chamber of North-West Macedonia organized a meeting with the Prime Minister of the Republic of North Macedonia, Zoran Zaev, Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy, Ljupco Nikolovski, Minister of Education and Science, Arber Ademi. The ECNWM was represented by the Chairman, Nebi Hoxha, members of the Chamber’s Steering and Supervisory Board and several member companies.

The meeting discussed the challenges facing the business sector, government measures and business support policies, the investment opportunities offered by our country, as well as the current problems that companies address when performing the activity of business entities and how to resolve them.

The main priority of the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia is the development of our country’s economy and meetings of this kind confirm the partnership and dialogue built with the business community, which is important in this process of building trust and cooperation to enable economic growth in a state that will benefit everyone.

During his speech, Prime Minister Zaev gave a description of the economic environment in the country as well as the new perspectives along with the investment opportunities that open up to companies with NATO membership and the opening of negotiations with the EU, but also through economic policy support measures. which substantially support the growth and development of the competitiveness of domestic companies.

ECNWM President Nebi Hoxha said public-private dialogue created with the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia is important for improving co-operation and finding common solutions that will be of interest to companies and citizens of North Macedonia. .

All ECNWM representatives had the opportunity to ask questions on topics that are of interest to the business community and to overcome some situations. Within this workshop, the two sides confirmed their commitment to mutual support and cooperation, which will serve to intensify the country’s economic growth as an important objective for enhancing the private sector and improving the quality of life of citizens. .
