Delegation from the Economic Chamber of North-West Macedonia headed by the President Mr. Nebi Hoxha met with Mr. Arjanit Hoxha, the new Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy. These meetings have become a tradition, with the sole purpose of increasing cooperation between state institutions and the business community.

Through this meeting ECNWM congratulates the Minister for the new post and also believes that the cooperation will be continuous. Agriculture, in the European Union coveres 40% of the budget, and in the Republic of North Macedonia is a key segment of development. Agriculture participates in the state GDP with 11%.

Also, in this meeting were discussed points from the Economic Platform for Development of North Macedonia prepared by the Chamber and what can be achieved in order to assist the business sector in this very important activity for our country and even more to alleviate the difficulties that the economy and this sector are facing  as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
