Creating a green economy: ECNWM helps businesses reduce waste

In an effort to improve and advance sustainability practices and waste management, the Economic Chamber of North-West Macedonia has started individual coaching for some of its member companies, selected through a public call.

This coaching program, divided into eight modules, aims to help companies reduce waste at the source and its disposal, including recycling and reusing energy-saving products and components.

So far, the coaching program have been successfully implemented at the companies: Kondevo MK, Purplast, Frukt Import, Benton-ni, M-Sorra, BFM and M-House, representing different sectors and cities of North Macedonia. For five of them, which generate larger amounts of waste, short waste management plans will be developed, including waste management strategies and monitoring systems.

ECNWM is committed to supporting its members in implementing more successful waste management and contributing to the protection of the environment, ensuring a more sustainable and cleaner future for everyone.

This initiative is part of the grant project of ECNWM “Green Business Leader” © which is implemented in cooperation with the Management Consulting Association MCA-2000 carried out within the project supported by USAID North Macedonia “Business Support Organizations Champions Activity” implemented by Strategic Development Consulting.
