The education system does not meet the real needs of the labor market

The Economic Chamber of North-West Macedonia participated in the meeting organized by the Ministry of Education for the Advancement of Vocational Secondary Education.

“If we refer to the individual successes of many people and cadres from this country, we understand that the potential and will to rise and develop is present and evident. Depending on the mentality with which we approach this issue, it will be the end result, but the conclusions that come from different treatments will not be similar to each other.

By referring to the same, we run counter to our work as a society because the results of the education system do not serve in line with what we need. This fact, although more urgent today, has been present in our country for a long time. Vocational education and the staff resulting from it, do not meet the needs of the business sector and the labor market, on the other hand business suffers from a lack of professional staff “-Says Mr. Iseni, Executive Director of ECNWM.

ECNWM considers that vocational education as an important segment should finally synchronize its activity in cooperation with business and relevant institutions should reflect on the seriousness of the alarming situation which the lack of staff is bringing.
