ECNWM, the only one in the region with a Code of Good Business Practices
The Code of Good Business Practices was presented and approved at the meeting of the ECNWM Assembly. This document derives directly from the Statute of the Economic Chamber of North-West Macedonia as well as from its proactive orientation to contribute to capacity building and improvement of operating conditions within the business entities – members of the Chamber.
The idea of adopting this code came as a result of the need for mutual support between businesses in their business activities. Such initiative was necessary especially during this difficult period of pandemic when the liquidity of many companies has declined, and it is essential that businesses support each other in order to overcome this crisis with as few consequences as possible.
The Code is based on and implemented according to some general principles and provisions, such as: reliability and credibility, respect for the individual and society, transparent and fair communication, compliance with legal provisions and the statute of ECNWM, fair and equitable competition, protection of personal information and data, prevention of conflict of interest, protection of health and safety at work as well as transparency, accountability and proactive participation of all business actors.
The Economic Chamber of North-West Macedonia in its mission to organize, advance, protect interests and promote businesses at home and abroad, has always been and continues to be a pioneer in new initiatives.
