Today, the Economic Chamber of North-West Macedonia and the Bureau for Regional Development signed a Memorandum of Cooperation. The purpose of this memorandum, among others, is to provide a framework for cooperation and to facilitate and strengthen cooperation between the parties in areas of common interest, such as: Support for increasing territorial cohesion and reducing regional disproportion; Promoting the development of rural areas and areas with specific development needs; Promoting effective and innovative governance; Exchange of publications and information related to regional and local development.

Through this Memorandum, the parties aim to contribute through mutual support and mutual cooperation to make the best use of all development potentials of the regions in the RNM and to contribute to the economic development of the country.

ECNWM in its four-year strategy as a horizontal goal which is in line with all other goals, is set to promote equitable regional development which is very important for sustainable growth and economic development of a country.
