During the event, the second edition of the White Book was promoted, created by the Economic Chamber of North-West Macedonia, featuring topics on philanthropy and corporate social responsibility in the country. The White Book promotes the activities of member companies on good practices for philanthropy and CSR, and it aims to encourage its members, as well as businesses in general, to adopt a strategic approach to these important social issues.
“The White Book is an important reflection of the contribution made by the member companies of the ECNWM towards economic development and the improvement of our society. We are proud of the generosity of these companies, which support important projects and bring positive changes to the community. This book, besides being a summary of our efforts, is also a call to action. We encourage all our members and the community to engage in projects that help those in need,” said the President of the ECNWM, Mr. Mendi Qyra.
The selection of companies, from many donor companies, was made by the executive office team of the ECNWM, based on their availability and contribution to solving societal issues and the long-term impact they create. The Business Forum is part of the USAID project “Partnerships for giving” implemented by Konekt in partnership with the European Center for Not-For-Profit Law ECNL, the Economic Chamber of North-West Macedonia and Indigo.
