On July 11, 2025, at a special ceremony, at 19:30 the ribbon was officially cut for Hotel “ËMBLA” – a visionary investment by Mr. Mendi Qyra and his company, bringing Struga not only a new accommodation space, but also a symbol of new standards in tourism and hospitality.
This modern hotel, built with sensitivity to local tradition and character, a restaurant with a kitchen of about 1,000 square meters and 90 rooms, will employ over 100 people, which will significantly impact unemployment in that city and beyond.
The investment is expected to directly contribute to the city’s economic development by creating new jobs and enhancing the high-quality tourism offer, where according to Mr. Qyra, the positive effect will be felt not only in Struga but also in Ohrid and Pogradec.
At this ceremony of this great event, many people from the Government, politics, economy, but also from the media were present, while a delegation from the ECNWM was also present, consisting of long-standing members, the Managing Board, the Supervisory Board, the Executive Director, etc.
The architectural design and concept were carried out by leading companies in the field, many of which are members of ECNWM, including ARH KONCEPT – a member of the Managing Board.
Hotel “Ëmbla” meets all the standards of a modern hotel and represents another important milestone in Mr. Mendi Qyra contribution to the development of Struga. Following the construction of a commemorative bridge dedicated to a local historical figure, his continuous support of concerts and cultural events, and the backing of the city’s pride, Struga Trim & Lum – the double champions of the top football league – this latest tourism investment further confirms his vision and concrete commitment to the city of Struga.
