On September 21, 2023, in Prague, Czech Republic, the President of ECNWM, Mr. Qyra, participated as a speaker in the business conference organized by “Invest North Macedonia.” The conference focused on the topic of “Investment Opportunities & WBIF Grant Process.”

During his speech, President Qyra highlighted the business and trade potential of North Macedonia’s market and discussed the economic perspectives of the North-West region.
“As the President of the Economic Chamber of North-West Macedonia, I have the opportunity to convey our position and express our support for foreign investment and cooperation, particularly in investments from the European Union and the Czech Republic, a partner with valuable experience that will assist in achieving our goals, including the process of EU membership,” stated Mr. Qyra.
Among other points, Mr. Qyra noted that the trade exchange between North Macedonia and the Czech Republic has significantly increased over the past four years.

He emphasized that ECNWM plays a crucial role in attracting significant foreign investments to our country, particularly in the sectors of agriculture, construction, and mountain tourism, as well as in other areas of tourism. He highlighted the potential offered by Struga and Ohrid as the country’s most prominent attractions.
President Qyra made it clear that ECNWM is prepared to support Czech investors in further enhancing cooperation between the two countries and contributing to the economic development of North Macedonia.
