President Mr. Pendarovski at a working meeting – ECNWM presents the Economic Manifesto for accelerated development.

Today, on 13.02.2024, President Mr. Stevo Pendarovski. The organized meeting offered opportunities to business representatives and members of the ECNWM to ask questions and address issues faced by the real business sector.

In addition, the analysis of the ECNWM “Economic Manifesto for accelerated development” created in cooperation with academic institutions was presented to the President. This initiative aims to provide a deeper look into the state’s economic performance since its independence, identifying gaps and serving as a roadmap to articulate the progress and vision for the economy in the coming years.

Chairman Qyra welcomed and thanked the President and emphasized that in this working meeting the problems faced by the business sector will be elaborated and measures will be taken for the selection of the same, in cooperation with all institutions, in order for the market to be free and to have a smaller number of labor force migration, where we also have the detailed analysis in the published Manifesto.

President mr. Pendarovski said that “Business requires predictability and requires legal security”. He also emphasized the problem of manpower and the arrival of new technologies in the country and how our country is ready for the same. He also emphasized that he will hold meetings with ECNWM member businesses to avoid and reduce problems.

The manifesto deals with a number of important and sensitive topics for the future development of the country. Topics covered include:

Privatization process-consequences, uneven regional development and unemployment,

The informal economy – as a constant obstacle, migration over the years – the flight of the labor force,

Fair implementation of legislation-reforms for more efficient institutions,

The Republic of North Macedonia in 2030.

The same before the membership and the President Mr. Pendarovski, presented by the Executive Director of OEMVP Durim Zekiri, detailing the main points that this manifesto aims to promote.
