Members of the Business Women Group participating in an international conference
The member and at the same time the vice-president of ECNWM, Mrs. Vlora Ademi was a participant in the first international conference “Women in foreign policy”, where she was a panelist in the first panel on “Covid 19 and its economic impact on women.” In this case, she emphasized that efforts to achieve gender equality and the number of women represented in all areas, have not yet achieved the necessary effect. According to Mrs. Ademi there is still no deeper commitment to empowering women in business, civil society and other sectors.
In this conference was also present Ms. Qanije Selimi, owner of the educational center “Rea”, also a member of the managing board of ECNWM, where she was a panelist in the first panel on “Covid 19 and its economic impact to women”.
In her speech, Mrs. Selimi said that the economic crisis caused by the Kovid 19 pandemic, was comprehensive without ignoring anyone, but women’s businesses have faced it more difficult, given the challenges they have had before. She also called for the promotion and growth of women-led businesses to increase the values that our state and society will be proud of but will also affect the country’s economic growth.
