ECNWM organizes the Traditional Iftar, promoting solidarity and coexistence

Skopje, March 6, 2025 – On the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, the Economic Chamber of North-West Macedonia at the premises of its member, Nita Palace Restaurant, organized the Traditional Iftar, gathering representatives of business, institutions and the community in an evening filled with the spirit of solidarity and understanding.

The Prime Minister of the Republic of North Macedonia, Mr. Hristijan Mickoski also participated in this important event, who with his presence gave a strong message about the importance of dialogue and cooperation between communities and different sectors of society.

Deeply appreciating the symbolism of Ramadan, ECNWM has already created a tradition in organizing this Iftar, as an act of respect for Islamic values, which embody generosity, forgiveness, wisdom, love and mutual respect. These universal principles are the foundation for building a more united and tolerant society, beyond ethnic, religious or cultural differences.

In his speech, the Chairman of the ECNWM, Mr. Mendi Qyra, expressed his gratitude to the supporters and contributors who made this significant event possible, the companies TRIM&LUM, SILCAPOR AND DAUTI.

“Today, more than ever, we need to preserve and transmit the values ​​of tolerance and understanding to the younger generations. Our society is rich in cultural and ethnic diversity, and we should not only be proud of this, but also feel a responsibility to protect and promote it. This iftar is a clear example of the harmony and coexistence that we aim to strengthen,” emphasized Mr. Qyra during his speech.

This event served as an opportunity to deepen ties between communities, businesses and institutions, recalling the importance of cooperation and solidarity in building a more sustainable and stronger society.
