ECNWM values and promotes socially responsible contributions and practices, recognizing them as a key pillar for sustainable economic and social development. Recently, member companies and sponsors of the Chamber took part in the “General Weekend” initiative – an environmental cleanup action held from May 9 to 11, 2025, across all municipalities in North Macedonia.
Since 2021, more than 44,000 volunteers from 51 municipalities have collected over 1,000,000 kilograms of waste during “General Weekend” activities.
Brewery Skopje, the strategic partner and main supporter of the action for the third consecutive year, Eko Fluid, with its unwavering commitment to environmental protection, Sparkasse Bank, a regular participant and promoter of sustainability values through its #SparkasseLife platform, and EVN Macedonia, consistently contributing to sustainable development and energy efficiency – all played a key role in this year’s initiative.
