30.07.2025, Skopje – The Executive Director of the Economic Chamber of North-West Macedonia, Durim Zekiri, welcomed representatives of the Konya Chamber of Industry, including the Secretary General, Mr. Fatih Bayraktar, and other delegates, with the aim of exploring opportunities for cooperation between the member companies of ECNWM and KCI.
The meeting focused on potential participation of ECNWM representatives in trade fairs in Turkey, particularly the defense industry fair in Konya, where suppliers and buyers of the sector meet. This fair, now in its 8th edition, is a significant platform for networking within the defense industry.
On the other hand, Mr. Zekiri presented the institution and highlighted the significant developments of the recent period, which support local businesses and stimulate foreign investments. He particularly emphasized the annulment of the Solidarity Tax Law and other measures aimed at creating a more competitive market in relation to regional countries.
The discussions also included potential cooperation between the two chambers, such as supporting member businesses, organizing joint economic missions, and developing mutually beneficial projects.
Executive Director Zekiri underlined ECNWM commitment to strengthening cooperation and supporting its members’ involvement in international initiatives, considering them as key platforms for networking and market expansion.
