02.03.2026, Skopje – The Leadership of ECNWM, consisting of Acting President Nuhi Aliu, Executive Director Durim Zeqiri, Honorary President Xhemail Dauti and Operational Manager Miranda Ajdini, held a meeting with the President of the Assembly of the Republic of Macedonia, Afrim Gashi, to discuss the proposed amendments to the Law on Enforcement, with particular emphasis on Article 218, which is currently also included in the UNER.
During the discussion, the need to eliminate the element of favoritism for public enterprises and to establish accountability mechanisms was emphasized, so that the enforcement process is fairer and more transparent for all economic actors.
The President of the Assembly, Afrim Gashi, expressed his support for the initiatives of the ECNWM, while the proposed changes will be reviewed in order to promote practices of equality and transparency in the economic sector.
The meeting emphasized the importance of dialogue between institutions and the business community to guarantee a fair and efficient legal framework. ECNWM, as one of its strategic pillars, also has the strengthening of the rule of law, through effective and fully accountable institutions, as an essential need for building a strong economy.
