Working meeting between ECNWM and the University of Tetovo: Cooperation for Economic Development and Professional Preparation
28.05.2024, Skopje – In the premises of ECNWM, President Qyra and the members of the Managing board held a working meeting with the Rector of the University of Tetovo, Prof. Dr. Jusuf Zejneli.
In this meeting, a range of topics were discussed related to economic developments, future challenges and perspectives of our country, the needs of the labor market, as well as the deepening of cooperation between educational institutions and the business sector in order to produce adequate staff, also to fight the migration of the youth abroad.
President Qyra stated that ECNWM will continue to remain a main partner of state institutions as well as educational-scientific ones, considering the workforce as an important asset for the country, and preparing it so that they are able to face the challenges of the labor market.
“We, as the Economic Chamber of North-West Macedonia, will continue to engage in finding innovative and long-term solutions to the challenges of the lack of labor in the Republic of North Macedonia. Through cooperation and joint determination, we will enable our country to create a stable economy with a stable job market that will enable the progress and vision of the country’s valuable businessmen,” said President Qyra.
In addition, there was a discussion about educational reforms, curriculum updating as well as essential reforms in the administration in the service of improving the business ecosystem in the country.
Rector of University of Tetovo, Prof. Dr. Jusuf Zejneli emphasized that he appreciates the commitment and interest of the business sector in raising the level and quality of education in the country, and he emphasized that the best and main partner in this journey is the Economic Chamber of North-West Macedonia.
In this meeting, the discussion occurred between all members that attended as well as the Executive director of the Chamber.
ECNWM, state and educational-scientific institutions will work closely to create joint programs that will prepare students for the challenges of the labor market, ensuring that youth have better opportunities for professional development within the country.
