02.07.2024, Skopje – In the premises of the Assembly of the Republic of North Macedonia, a meeting was held between the leadership of the Economic Chamber of North-West Macedonia and the President of the Assembly of the Republic of North Macedonia.

The president of ECNWM, Mr. Mendi Qyra together with the leadership of ECNWM and the Executive Director, were welcomed by the President of the Assembly of RNM Mr. Afrim Gashi. This meeting marked an important step in strengthening the cooperation between the private sector and the Assembly as the bearer of the legislative power in the country.

Discussions focused on key issues affecting the region’s economic development, as well as ways legislation can support businesses and economic initiatives. The president Mr. Qyra emphasized that it should be worked in the direction of improving the business climate in the country, through the improvement of the legal framework in order to achieve growth and economic development of our country.

During the meeting, the President of the Assembly Mr. Gashi expressed his full support for initiatives aimed at improving the business climate through the adoption and amendment of legislation affecting the real business sector.

The president of ECNWM Mr. Qyra expressed his gratitude towards Mr. Gashi for the support and willingness for cooperation, underlining that this cooperation is essential to achieve common goals for the economic well-being and that of the country’s citizens.
