European summit of free economic zones took place in Skopje with more than 350 guests, where among them was our President Mr. Nebi Hoxha. This summit began with panel from government representatives upon government aid for the investors, where participated minister of the economy Kreshnik Bekteshi and three other ministers from the region.

Part of the discussion was harmonization of the policies of the region and unifying the allocation of state aid. The summit was presented by vice prime Minister for economic issues Koco Agjushev, the executive of Directorate of technology zones and industrial development (TIRZ) Aleksandr Mladenovski and Muhamed Al Zaroni, President of the World Organization of Free Zones.

During the summit will be signed a cooperation agreement between TIRZ and the World Organization of Free Zones, and will be discussed topics “ The future of free zones and difficulties they face” ,”illegal trade and their effect upon the free zones and the insurance program “ and “Foundation of an organization which will cover all kinds of zones”. Tomorrow is planed a visit to Skopje Free economic zones.
