The Vice President of the Economic Chamber of North-West Macedonia, Mr. Jeton Asani, attended the solemn ceremony organized on the occasion of the 31st anniversary of the founding of the University of Tetova. The ceremony was held in the presence of academic, institutional, economic, and social figures, and the guests were welcomed by the University leadership, headed by the Rector, Prof. Dr. Jusuf Zejneli.
As part of this important academic event, the University of Tetovo awarded the title Doctor Honoris Causa to the former President of the Republic of Albania, Prof. Dr. Rexhep Meidani. This high academic distinction represents a special recognition of his outstanding contribution to the development of education and scientific knowledge, the strengthening of democratic values, and the promotion of pan-Albanian cooperation.
Through this symbolic and institutional act, the University of Tetovo reaffirms its commitment to honoring figures who have made significant contributions to the advancement of society and education within the Albanian speaking community.
