The Acting President of the Economic Chamber of North-West Macedonia, Mr. Nuhi Aliu, together with the Executive Director, Mr. Durim Zekiri, held a meeting with the new General Manager of HALKBANK AD Skopje, Mr. Fatih Sahbaz, and the Executive Director, Mr. Berkan Imeri.
The meeting focused on opportunities to further strengthen the cooperation between the Economic Chamber of North-West Macedonia and HALKBANK AD Skopje, a long-standing and significant partner and sponsor of ECNWM. The parties assessed the achievements of their cooperation so far and identified new areas where this partnership could expand and bring concrete benefits to the business community.
During the meeting, emphasis was placed on the importance of the bank’s programs and initiatives aimed at empowering the private sector by providing financial instruments with favorable conditions for investments. Special appreciation was given to the measures that support women in business, including dedicated packages for women entrepreneurs, as well as programs aimed at young entrepreneurs (start-ups).
Through these projects, HALKBANK AD Skopje aims to create a more sustainable and supportive ecosystem for the development of entrepreneurship, while ECNWM reconfirmed its readiness to offer the necessary platform for information, cooperation, and engagement of businesses in these programs.
